We have read that every mammal on this earth has a mating season, eg., dogs breed in winter, and others follow the same thing except humans.
According to me when humans were just like other mammals that is not that developed, they used to mate mostly during winter. It can be said by taking into account many things:
1. During summer our timing is very less as compared to winter which is why we mostly go to cold places for our honeymoon.
2. During summer we will sweat a lot due to high workouts and it can smell bad so we will try to avoid it as much as possible as it can disturb our mood.
3. During winter our body requires heat and it can be generated by having intercourse and there won’t be any sweat to disturb our mood.
4. Research has found that during winter our sperm quality is superior to during summer.
5. A child born in March or summer month will have more chances of surviving if they had to die of weather-related phenomena than a child born in winter months.
As we have progressed we have over-hyped sex like it’s a very big thing, what we don’t understand is that nature has not produced us to just think about sex, had it been so then all the animals in nature would have been involved in sex only but they do not do this.
As science has progressed it has given us many things which can be used for pleasure. Our foundation of existence does not lie in the fact that we enjoy pleasure and forget the final aim of achieving consciousness through the right knowledge. Now, we don’t do sex because we feel it, we just do it. We have transformed sex into a habit from just a need. This can be corroborated by the fact that we see many movies, web series, songs or anything just revolving around sex, some are direct while some are indirect but most have only one final goal.
We can have songs also that focus on Vedanta or morality or ethics or the highest virtue of spirituality in a good amount but they don’t exist.
